Our Ministry Model

A model that facilitates our vision and values

Definition

A Ministry Model depicts how people flow though the life of our church and how the ministries of our church integrate into a holistic system.

Model Description

A meaningful worship service is targeted to believers and explained to the unbelievers who may attend. Connection with our community and evangelism happens through personal relationships, ministering to community needs, outreach events, worship services and small groups. Helping people become a part of our campus begins with “Connecting” so that people become comfortable and accepted. Making disciples and caring for people happens in Small Groups. Supporting for ministry occurs in the Ministry Community

Some Definitions

Outreach Events
Programs or ministries that are primarily oriented to bring people to a decision for Christ.

Personal Relationships
One on one relationships with friends and colleagues who don’t yet know Jesus – where we meet felt needs and share Jesus with them or at least invite them come and be a part of our community of faith.

Meeting Community Needs
Programs and personal ministry where we meet the needs of people in our community (and move from physically caring for them to spiritually caring for them. (Being salt and light as Jesus has called us)

Connecting
An intentional way to welcome and sponsor newcomers into our fellowship

Ministry Community
The community of people and leaders that make everything happen as they serve Jesus and others together. They gather as necessary (usually a couple of times a year) for encouragement, affirmation and vision casting. Everyone in this group has a person who supports and helps them with life and ministry challenges.
