Our Mission Focus
Whom God has called us to reach
We identified our Mission Focus through the lens of Acts 1:8. “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” We have described our campus mission focus as follows.
Our Jerusalem
- These are people we know (have connections with) and are currently reaching.
- Indonesian friends – mostly believers, some unchurched
- Some unbelieving friends – mostly Buddhists
- Uncommitted churched believers
Our Judea
- These are people we know (have connections with) but are not currently reaching.
- Indonesian non-believers
- Co-workers
- Friends
- Family members
- New Immigrants
- Students
- Muslims
- Indonesians who are believers but who do not attend church
Our Samaria
- These are people we don’t know (have few connections with) and are not currently reaching.
- Other Asian immigrants e.g. Koreans, Chinese, Filipino, etc.
- Second Generation Indonesians and their friends
The Ends of the Earth
- These are people we don’t know, are not reaching and who require us to cross over to another culture if we are to reach them.
- People outside our country
People that are very open to God and to us
- As we discussed our Mission Focus, it was clear to us that there are two particular people groups that are open to God and to us.
- Indonesian Immigrants
- Indonesian Students
We believe these two groups should be people we intentionally reach with the love of Christ.
